Woolly Bird's nest sectioned

The woolly bird's nest has been sliced open to show the "eggs" (peridioles) filling the nest.

The lighting is almost axial and shows the brown colour better than the uncut picture. The eggs are lens shaped and smooth, not contained in a jelly and not equipped with a thread.

Those interested in macro-stereoscopic photography will realise the separation between the two pictures is greater than on the uncut version, making the 3D effect more intense.
