Plicaturopsis scarlatinus

Name proposed by I. A. Hood. He says this is wide-spread in New Zealand but not recorded before 1971.

This, along with
Gloeoporus phlebophorus
, was photographed indoors on dead wood. They were accidently turned through 90 degrees counter-clockwise. The pink surface should be above, not on the left, but this cannot be corrected by image rotation in stereoscopic format.
