Nematoceras (Corybas) “rest area”

of the round leaved N. rivulare aggregate, was first discovered at Oturere rest area off the Desert Rd. but occurs sporadically down to the Puffer Track north of Upper Hutt. It prefers shaded swampy sites or year-long seeping ground. The 20mm long flowers open in November. The unique soaring dorsal sepal occurs only in vigorous plants.
