| Spiranthes novae-zelandiae (sinensis)
prefers compacted gravel stream banks or wet old road formations etc where it's typically 120mm stems produce say 14 bright pink to red, rarely white flowers, only 8mm long. Flowers spiral either to right or to left in December to February from the Chathams and Coromandel to Milford Sound. Stiff 25mm leaves form a cluster at the base of the stem. Said to be self pollinated but some crossing must occur or the species would disappear from in-breeding.
Red/cyan anaglyphs cannot show red and the purple colour should be pink.
